Love your blog. Very succinct in your 4 top reasons. You might want to add some time that goats are much easier on the environment than cattle.

Great job on the website!

'Robot' sure was ready for a new home!
Kids, kids, kids! everywhere you look! Yup it is spring at BF. Watching the little guys bong, bong, bong across the pasture it looks like they are on every ready springs. Way to cute!

Christmas has the cutest puppies ever! I use to raise Pyres but these cuties are the biggest healthiest fat pups I have ever seen and Mom is so pound of them. You can tell Christmas must have gotten her share of rich goats milk before they were born.

Of course we can't forget the monumental task of sheep shearing a couple of weeks ago. Ever faithful sheep shearer Vortec was back with his clippers ready to go. I don't know how many we did...30? They seemed to go on forever...wool everywhere. Lots of great fluffy stuff for sale; crafting, spinning, felting it is good for all of those things.

Thank God He sent some younger folks to do some of the harder work. Even still sheep shearing is hard work! Before I was ready to return home to Roanoke, Va. I wanted to sleep for 3 years, I had counted way to many sheep! ~Sherry
